Protective Charm

Purpose of the Talisman: This talisman is used when ascending the ritual platform.

Spell Incantations: Recite the Purification Mantra and the Protection Mantra three times each.

Stroke order: First write the characters "敕令" (Imperial Edict). On the left side, make two curved strokes and three loops, then turn downward and flick upward to the right. Function of the talisman: This talisman consists of twelve sections. When the incantation is completed, the talisman corresponding to the deity or guardian to be summoned at the time of the ritual is used.
