Devotees who come to us often open their hearts to share their life stories, but their primary concern is to learn specific methods for addressing their current problems—or how we can help them resolve these issues.
This issue involves three time periods: the present and the future, while believers generally forget the past.
So from our perspective, what significance does everything now represent?
This is usually something we only know in our hearts, because most people are incapable of being honest with themselves.

Though many have made offerings to the Dharma, they remain unwilling to change. The future lies within each person—not in declaring before the Buddha, "I've done so much, why hasn't it worked yet?"
Because when you achieve it, the Buddha will hear, and it will naturally come to pass. This is also a form of self-honesty, so you won't accept an unrealistic version of yourself.
Another type of person simply seeks business advice. This aspect shares similarities with the individual's own circumstances, but requires consideration of more external variables. I won't elaborate further here.
